Promotional productions vary a great deal from project to project. It is difficult to give even a rough estimate of cost, but handy rules of thumb can be found below.
- One 30-second commercial ($600)
- Two 30-second commercials ($850)
- Graphic intense commercial production - additional $100-$200
- After Effects compositions / 3D design - additional $400-$600
- HD footage acquisition/editing/archival - additional $200-$400
Promotional productions typically include one DVD for the client and a video for broadcast in whatever format the client specifies.
At all times in these productions, it is the client who directs the video's creation and is ultimately responsible for its content. Bill Whitt Productions cannot be held liable for elements that the client has directed to be part of the production.
