Home -> Order -> Payment FAQ

1. Is it safe to shop from you online?

Yes. All transactions are handled through a secure server. Shopping from us is as safe as shopping at any other online store.

2. Why PayPal?

It is fast, efficient, secure, and widely used. PayPall is good for you because it allows you to pay via credit card, debit card, e-check or several other convenient methods. PayPal is good for us because it charges us the lowest rates to accept credit card payments. That means we are able to keep our costs low and not pass along the expense to you in the form of higher costs.

3. What if I want a refund?

Some refunds are actually mandatory. If you place an order that has been restricted to be available only to a specific group of people (and you are not part of that group), your order will be canceled, and the charge on your card will be reversed, resulting in a refund of the total purchase price and all fees and taxes.

In other cases, the refund policy varies from product to product, so be sure to read its particular restrictions and notes before ordering. Generally, though, unless otherwise noted, we do not offer refunds on videos. Just as you cannot buy software, install it on your computer, and then return it for a refund, neither can you buy a video, watch it or copy it, and then return it to most stores.

4. What if the product is defective?

Products that can be shown to be defective, when returned to us, will be replaced at no charge. We cannot be responsible for any shipping charges incurred in the process. Strict quality control is maintained at every level of production, and such defects in our products are very, very rare. Most often, the problem is with older consumer equipment, such as older DVD players that cannot play DVD-R media.

DVD's that are defective will also be replaced. However, please note that Bill Whitt Productions uses DVD-R media. Before you purchase a DVD product from us, please make sure your DVD player is compatible with this format. (Generally, only the oldest DVD players are not compatible.) If your DVD player will not read the disc because it is incompatible (and the disc is not defective), no exchange or refund will be offered. Again, we cannot be responsible for any shipping charges incurred in the process.

5. Why are there so many restrictions?

The Internet is by nature global; however, Bill Whitt Productions is a local company primarily serving our surrounding communities only. Most of our products are designed to be targetted only to our local customers. Therefore, only those who are involved with an event may order a tape of it from this Website. At all times and in all cases, Bill Whitt Productions reserves the right to cancel any order for any reason, resulting in a reversal of the charge and a full refund. We do this to protect the privacy or those who use our services, while still allowing them the convenience of online ordering.

6. Are these the same prices I would pay if I had ordered another way?

Yes, the prices listed online are the same prices we currently charge in other forms of payment for each of the items listed. Archival items are priced $2 higher than their original list price because of the process of archive retrieval. See the restrictions and notes for each item for more information.

7. What is your privacy policy?

We will never divulge your e-mail address, address, phone number, or other personal information to any other party at any time for any reason. This information is only kept in our records to be used for the purpose of filling your order most efficiently. We never see your billing information (credit card numbers, etc.). This information is handled by PayPal. Please be aware that you should also inspect PayPal's privacy policy if you are concerned.

8. What do I do if I have a question concerning my order?

Visit the Contact Us section of this Website and submit your question. We will call or e-mail you as soon as possible in reference to your order.

For other important issues you should keep in mind as you plan a video production with us, please see the Making the Video section.
